I would like to welcome you to the May 2011 edition of NSS News, a newsletter designed to keep you in touch with developments in the field of statistics. In this edition, NSS News features an article on the new Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS), the standard on which statistical data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics is to be released. The newsletter also provides an overview of Heather Richards' (Canadian Institute of Health Information) presentation on data quality at the Data Quality 2011 Asia Pacific Congress.
