Statistical Literacy and Training

This page provides links to agencies that offer a range of statistical training, education programs and resources. These services are targeted at developing the statistical skills of people using statistics, or working, managing or conducting surveys.

Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) training pageThe ABS caters for a broad range of statistical users. The ABS can provide training sessions on how to navigate, access and use the freely available ABS website statistics (including census data), as well as training to develop skills for high quality statistical collections and statistical analysis. National Statistical Seminar Series
A new National Statistical Seminar Series has been launched, combining the Statistical Clearing House (SCH) Seminar Series and the StatsNetwork Meetings. This series will focus on a range of issues of interest to the statistical community. Seminars are composed of a 30-40 minute presentation followed by morning tea and a panel discussion of the seminar topic.
