Are you a user of Census data?

Over the past few months, Census Products & Services has held information sessions about 2011 Census across Australia including in Canberra, Townsville, Melbourne, Perth, Darwin, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney, Newcastle and Hobart where we have had the opportunity to meet with Census data users!

We have had an enthusiastic response so far to the new products Tablebuilder Basic and Tablebuilder Pro, as well as proposed improvements to QuickStats. Much interest has also been around the new geography being implemented for 2011 Census.

If you haven't already seen the information paper 2011 Census of Population and Housing: Proposed Products and Service (ABS Cat. No. 2011.0) which was released 29 July 2010, please have a look. Some samples of the new improvements to the product suite are contained in the ABS Betaworks site. Your feedback on these samples would be most appreciated.
