Speakers: Mr Simon Strickland, Assistant Director of the Statistical Clearing House, Australian Bureau of Statistics, and Ms Spurti D'souza, Statistical Clearing House, Australian Bureau of Statistics.
Abstract: The Statistical Clearing House (SCH) is the mandatory central clearance point for business surveys that are run, funded or conducted on behalf of the Commonwealth Government. SCH work alongside Survey Managers and engage with SCH network of Survey Liaison Officers to reduce the load of Commonwealth Government surveys on Australian businesses, and ensure surveys are fit for their purpose.
In this session, Simon and Spurti explained how SCH add value to the survey development process through their simple online submission forms, with the Fast Track Review process, by publishing the Australian Government Business Surveys Register, and other useful resources.
