Rachael’s current role aims to build the ability and performance of councils to better serve their community in relation to all matters regarding social policy. This work is based on foundations of developmental engagement and capacity building.
With over 5 years experience working for Queensland Local Government, 10 years working in the youth and community sector (both in Australia and overseas) and research in the field of homelessness, Rachael has a well grounded understanding of the role of local government in working alongside communities.
