The Australian Apple & Pear Growers Association's Executive have requested the ABS collect additional data to be collected in the next survey of apple and pear growers. They wish to have the area under production collected for each of the age groups by variety listed in 'apple varieties by state' and 'pear varieties by state'. This has resulted in a change to the layout of the questionnaire.
The test will identify potential problems with the new layout of the form and the ability of respondents to provide the additional area data.
