Statistical capability is vital to most professions in a modern economy, and is increasingly important to negotiating the complexities of everyday life. But what does it mean to be statistically capable? And how can individuals and organisations build their own capability?
The Learning Hub is designed to answer these questions and give you access to a world of statistical capability resources.
The categories below outline the key dimensions of statistical capability relating to statistical use, statistical production and statistical leadership; and within each dimension you will find a range of resources relevant to your unique statistical learning needs. Note that these dimensions are represented in the draft Statistical Capability Framework and may undergo some alteration following the current consultation process.
The resources included have been identified by the ABS on the basis of quality and accessibility, with the range expected to grow over time. If you are aware of other resources that warrant inclusion, please contact the National Statistical Service: inquiries@nss.gov.au.
