How to save and reload your SCH Online Tool submissions
General Hints and Tips
You can save your progress and exit the SCH Online Tool by clicking on the 'Save and Close' button located at the bottom, left hand of every screen.
You will be prompted to nominate a location (on your server or drive) and a name for the output file. You will have the option to save your file with a default file name, allocated by the SCH Online Tool, however we recommend creating a file name. The output file will be in .XML file format.
- Make sure you save your progress before you exit the SCH Online Tool.
- Keep your .XML file on a secure server or drive to ensure information is confidential.
- Information you enter will not be stored by the SCH, even if you navigate away from the page. Please ensure you continually save your work.
Note: All information entered into the SCH Online Tool is not stored on any SCH systems, until you submit your template to the SCH. The only opportunity you will have to save and close your work is to utilise the save and close functionality.
To resume work on a SCH Online Tool, regardless of which template you are completing, select the 'Existing User - Upload Template' button on the SCH Online Tool home page page. You will be prompted to upload your .XML file. The data from the .XML file will be populated in the respective fields.
Note: You can only upload XML files, originally generated by the SCH Online Tool, into the reload functionality.
