Information Development Plan

Improving Statistics on Children and Youth

The Information Development Plan (IDP), published in December 2006, is an agreement among key stakeholders on statistical work required in the field of children and youth to support policy, planning and accountability and provide a better evidence base for analysing outcomes for children in the wider social and economic context. It supports the work of the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) and its partner organisations in enhancing the National Statistical Service.
