Introduction
The Statistical Clearing House (SCH), located within the Australian Bureau of Statistics, is the clearance point for surveys being run by the Australian Government.
The aim of the SCH is to reduce the workload imposed on respondents by official Government surveys.
The SCH will assess the proposed survey methods and questionnaire design to ensure that surveys follow best practice.
Surveys that meet the specific scoping criteria are reviewed within 20 days and given approval to be conducted.
