Transmet - The Journey

Abstract:
Transmet is a portal which provides metadata for Australia's Transport Statistics, and was released on the NSS website in mid 2010. Setting up the portal was the culmination of a range of work by transport agencies across all jurisdictions and levels of government working with the ABS to identify needs for transport decision makers.
This presentation will describe the lessons learnt on this journey, as well as how we will take these lessons on board into the future.
