APS Innovation Month: Innovating with government data: a public conversation
Innovation Month 2014 (7 July – 1 August) is a practical exploration of innovation for the public service and its partners. It is about sharing ideas, experiences, techniques and challenges.
A public briefing was held on 21 July 2014 with discussions about innovation with and opening government data in Australia. Sessions were about data.gov.au, ABS.Stat, data by region application and the ABS Run That Town application which gained reviews from users as being 'totally addictive'.
