Confirmed Speakers and Abstracts Information Platform Demonstrations The Community Indicators Summit will provide the opportunity for practitioners involved in the development of frameworks and platforms for Community Indicators to share their knowledge and experience with other participants. Delegates will be able to view the Information Platform Demonstrations over the refreshment breaks and see, first hand, projects which are shaping the future of measurements of well-being. The demonstrations will showcase community indicator initiatives which: · provide education and build skills and competence in statistical management, provision, use and interpretation · strengthen collaborative approaches to the development of our national (and federal) statistical system, especially between users and producers of statistics · develop new and better practical statistical applications to inform and stimulate public policy and debate · provide forums to share ideas and experiences, consider common problems, develop standards and compare best practice models For information about the program or if you are interested in presenting an information demonstration platform please email: inquiries@nss.gov.au Back to Summit Home Page |
