NatStats08 conference
stimulates successful conversation for Australia's statisticians



Around 460 delegates from the statistical community across Australia met for the first time at the NatStats08 conference in Melbourne on 19 - 21 November, 2008. The breadth of representation from international and national speakers and participants from the government, business, community and the university sectors, ensured the event was a success, and that discussion was relevant and buoyant.

The conference participants prepared a declaration to guide the development of a national statistics strategy for Australia in the 21st century.
