Dr Ralph Lattimore

Ralph is Assistant Commissioner at the Productivity Commission. He has spent most of his time in Australia undertaking public policy analysis and formulation on a wide variety of issues. His work has covered areas as diverse as analysis of R&D taxation arrangements, telecommunications, Australia’s science and innovations system, R&D and other support for the pharmaceutical industry, and a wide range of social policy issues. He is currently leading the staff team in the Productivity Commission inquiry into a new long-term disability support and care system.
Ralph has a Bachelor of Arts degree and Masters degree in economics from the Australian National University, and a doctorate from Oxford University.
