Manager of Monitoring and Research, Statewide Outcomes for Children Division of the Victorian Department of Education and Early Childhood Development.
Joyce Cleary is the Manager of Monitoring and Research in the Statewide Outcomes for Children Division of the Victorian Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. She is responsible for the Victorian Child and Adolescent Monitoring System (VCAMS). This is a cross-government monitoring system that reports on indicators of health, wellbeing, learning, safety and development of children 0 to 18, and their families, against an agreed Outcomes Framework. Joyce has also worked as a Senior Analyst within the Victorian Office for Children, leading the development of local level profiles with indicators of child health and wellbeing.
Prior to Victorian State Government, Joyce spent several years with the Health Service Executive in Ireland both as an Information Analyst, monitoring services for children and families, and as a Researcher, evaluating social work programs. Prior to her research and analytical career, Joyce spent a number of years working in disability services.
Joyce has an Honours Degree in Psychology from University College Dublin and a Masters in Applied Social Research from Trinity College, Dublin.
