Head of sustainability management, SAS Australia & New Zealand
In his role as Head of Sustainability Management, Warren is responsible for leading the SAS® for Sustainability Management initiative within Australia and New Zealand and extending the customer base of the SAS Performance Management portfolio of solutions, which are instrumental in establishing a solid Performance Management (PM) environment. Performance Management is the main area of focus for Australia’s top C level executives as continued pressure on corporate governance and efficient and effective execution continues to grow.
Since joining SAS, Warren has focused on performance management engagements in government and enterprises and worked with SAS US, focused on the new SAS® for Sustainability Management Solution. Warren works with an extensive range of Departmental CFO's and Government Executives and Directors in support of portfolio and budgetary delivery and alignment with ICT Strategy to deliver successful SAS projects
Having held CFO positions in a number of high profile organisations, Warren has brought to SAS a wealth of experience in customer service and project execution. In combination with his knowledge of financial intelligence issues and solutions, he is eminently qualified to collaborate with SAS customers’ at the executive level on introducing effective performance management practices and solutions.
Prior to joining SAS, Warren spent approximately seven years with Sun Microsystems Software Division and five years with Compaq/Digital which involved reporting on corporate performance.
Leading up to his roles within IT, Warren held CFO or lead Financial roles of several global companies for the Asia Pacific and ANZ regions.
Primarily, Warren’s focus aligned with his corporate financial and software implementation experience, enables him to work with potential SAS customers at the C level to address the business issue of “gaining actionable insights to their business performance risks by effectively analysing data.”
Warren holds a MBA degree focused on Marketing, Business degrees with majors in accounting and economics, including environmental and transport economics and is a Fellow Certified Practising Accountant.
